Hate doing this because i like kane too but same stats in 5 less games doesn't really make up the gap of lemieux, armia and roslovic.

Understood but those 3 haven't done anything yet and we'll see if they do for the jets. I recall reading earlier in the season on this thread that Kane is a bum and he'll never even get 20. I'm glad he got his 20th tonight. The guy gives the effort every night. Something Stafford never did. I'll take Kane on my team.

It's a good question. I look at it like this: Lemieux was never going to be a Sabre, and Stafford was not going to be brought back. Armia is only 2 years younger than Kane and has 8 NHL points to his name. Roslovic could be great one day, but he's only 19 and an unknown. The other big thing for me is that the Sabres probably don't finish in last place if they don't make the Kane trade.

So I will take Kane, Kasdorf, and Jack Eichel over No Stafford, No Lemieux, Armia, and Roslovic (or whatever GMTM would've done with the pick). And I assume we're just calling Myers and Bogo a 1-for-1?

Up until recently, it wasn't a very fair 1 for 1. Only lately has Bogo resembled anything near a top 2 or 3 guy.

When we win a game on the road against a team with a better record and Colaiacovo and Larsson are the ones that score...

I would trade the pick but it would have to be for a lot or a top 4 forward on a play off team or top pairing defenceman

Eh... This team is still inconsistent. We just lost to the Leafs after all... I think 4-9 are realistic options to finish. Still have a few tough games remaining. Game against Winnipeg will be big on Saturday.
