They've done it to a fault. If they get that 1st they should take him and then trade Draisitl, RNH, and Eberle to start.

I swear I read something about how if they blow it up McDavid, Draistail, and Nurse are the only untouchables.

Didn't I see that there were proposals at the Owner's Meetings that you wanted a rule that you could only win the lottery so many times in a given time frame or if you win it then you can't the following year be instead top 3 or something?

We had an opportunity to get close to a top 3 pick but we didn't do it. I wish we had but I don't have the energy anymore to be upset about wins. We're 5 points out of last, 4 points out of 22nd. So it can go either way. A loss tonight and some help and we'll be in 26th and only 1 point ahead of Edmonton. A win and we can jump Arizona and Calgary. We're in the single digits for games now, whatever happens happens.

EDIT: it was well advertised that we had the easiest schedule in the NHL after the trade deadline. I'm not surprised we have been winning more closer to .500 of games.

Through all of Edmonton's years living on hockey welfare they still refuse to move any of those free assets to balance their team. Those poor kids would probably die for a change of scenery.

Maybe I am in the minority here but I REALLY like how Foligno has played the last 20 games or so. Love to see what he could do on the 2LW instead of Girgensons with Eichel and Reinhart.
