I'm thinking tom hardy as G Washington and Josh Brolin as Lincoln and them just being total badasses.
- orangekrush2010

why not have Tom Hardy play both?

Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter

Somebody probably got fired for making that movie.

- hereticpride

You know, it wasn't really "good"...but at the same time, it was so much better than it should have been. It was somewhere between Sci Fi weekend movie and Rocky V.

The second one was the best if only because of Heath Ledger. His performance brings it to a whole other level. The other two are just OK, with the third one being one of the cheesiest films I've ever seen.
- TobyFlenderson

First was good, 2nd was amazing, 3rd was horrible. Heath's performance in that movie is one of my favorite performances of all time, he killed that role. I'm trying to keep an open mind for Jared Leto's Joker, and I respect that they are trying to reinvent him, but I don't like it so far, especially with all the tattoos. The Joker doesn't seem like someone to sit and let someone tattoo him unless he was doing it himself.

They're doomed anyhow with Neuvirth out. Steve Mason isn't a number one goalie.

I actually read that as a response to a story about Neuvirth's injury. Are Flyers fans really this (frank)ing stupid?

So what mass stupidity does your city's women show in regards to the sports teams/stadium names?
- Guile

In general, our female sports' fans jump on the bandwagon of whatever sports team is hot in the city without knowing donk about who the players are and/or the history of the team. This was most apparent with the 2007-2011 Phillies runs.

Does anyone know if Sanheim/fazleev can play for the phantoms in April if his team gets knocked out of the playoffs?

I don't know if Ben was a badass, but he definitely had the best job during the Revolutionary War.

Well thats not as humorous. Somehow Pittsburgh kept enough Pirates fans during the decades of suckage, that the bandwagoners aren't annoying masses. I think having what is considered a top 3 stadium in the country always helped (not my words, most MLB polls of favorite stadium to visit). I really miss when the team wasn't ass good, and the all you can eat seats were in Right Field right over the wall, and 20 bucks. Now almost 40 bucks, and above the right field foul line, upper deck.

Penguins... yeah, call them bandwagons in the 5 years after Crosby, its now been long enough they evolved into real fans.

But ughhh... the Heinz fields is named after Hines Ward in some Steelers fans

Yes, they can sign ATOs after their season ends to play for the Phantoms or Flyers without starting their ELCs.

I loved PNC Park when I saw a Phils-Pirates exhibition back in the early 2000s. I'm sure it's even better now.

There was some dumb blonde on the train to the Flyers in late 2010 where people started a "Let's Go Flyers!" chant and after it was over, she retorts with "Stu-pid spo-ort!" and her boyfriend (I'm assuming) turned red as hell realizing that well, she's only good for one thing, and it's not talking/thinking.

Trouble With the Curve kinda has that narrative. The daughter, big sports lover, the other scout, sports lover and former player. Great movie if you never saw it.

In general, all CHL players can sign an ATO and play in the NHL/AHL after their season is over. However, if a college player does so and plays 1 game, his ELC kicks in (Kreider/Krug), assuming he signs is SPC when he's 20 (college players can not sign ATOs).
