Good bounce back game for Flyers. Obviously awesome they won, but more importantly how they played together.

Really not sure what people expect from a Flyers goaltender. I guess the media and casual fans look at goaltending stats and think "our goaltender isn't a leader, so that's our problem".

There's always one thing that is almost always in common with the elite goalies...solid defensive teams in front of them. There are exceptions like Luongo's first run in Florida, but Roy never played on a bad team and when he did he got shelled.

I know the fanbase can make a thing out of anything, but in looking at the backread, I'm a little stunned that some are just incapable of giving Mason the credit he's earned since he got to the Flyers

Been one of the five best players on the team since he arrived

Milbury said it's real wonderful for a backup like Mason to come in and "pitch in."

what a Richard.

He was a douche as a player, poop as a coach and monumentally inept as a GM. And yet, somehow, he's even worse as a commentator!

This from a guy that apparently assaulted a kid in minor hockey. Wtf?

and single handedly destroyed the Islanders franchise with stupidity and lack of hockey knowledge.

Update: Although if he said what a normal person would say, he wouldn't get talked about so much and would be replaced by someone else. He does know job security.

He's right. Mason has been nothing more than a career backup for the entire history of Earth's celestial rotation.

Well...great win tonight. I was driving Saturday and said "(frank) it" when the poop hit the fan at the end of the second. Switched over to some tunes. Was nice to see them grind out a win on the road to rebound.

I might head up to Columbus tomorrow for the game. Three hour drive. Four if you add in the hour commute from work. If I can get out of the office early enough, I might make it happen, although Cincy rush hour could (frank) me on that plan. It sure would be fun to see them live in the stretch drive here.
