Jr was fun while he was a flyer, but such a swollen douche as a commentator. He's like a real life clown at times

yes.

I agree. Not over worked tonight and we need the points. Just that an argument can be made that it's Cbj, and were prob gonna need to get stollie a start.

He is. He's long since spent whatever goodwill he'd earned as a Flyer as far as I'm concerned.

Be nice to see us come back with another solid game and get 2 pts vs Cbj. So do we come back with mase?
- Hextall271

I think, personally, I'd go with Stolarz. Yeah, it's risky. But you can't run Mason out there every night

It's tempting, and I understand why some would. But sometimes, you just need to bite the bullet and try to get a point in the rookie's debut, give Mason the day off against one of the worst teams in the league

You had to have tonight, and you got it

I'm good either way. Get to see Mason roll with it or see a glimpse at what the future may hold. I'm good either way because in the end we are going to see fonzy and his stupid face lose tomorrow

I know the fanbase can make a thing out of anything, but in looking at the backread, I'm a little stunned that some are just incapable of giving Mason the credit he's earned since he got to the Flyers

Been one of the five best players on the team since he arrived

I think Stolarz may play in Colorado. 3rd game in 4 nights in Denver, isn't an easy road trip. Gotta get the 2 points in Columbus tomorrow night, and get at least 2 points out of Colorado and Arizona. Run with Mase tomorrow night.

Wow Milbury is such a weenie, complaining about the Gudas hip check. Boo hoo what a richard. Great effort tonight, a little slow to start but they fought hard at the end. What a shot by Manning picking the far corner

he was really praising mason and even corrected douchebury who called mason "good". he said "no, he was great." color me shocked.

then he told him the gudas hit was fine and just because he didn't like it doesn't mean it was bad.

Overall in the third period they just shut down the Isles, made really smart plays with the puck. At least the team has shown the ability to close this season under Hakstol. I think they have only 1 regulation loss when leading after 3rd period. I'm pretty sure it wasn't as good of a record last season.

JR's life is basically the movie Memento. He'll wake up tomorrow with amnesia and see a tattoo on his chest that reads, "Steve Mason sucks ass."
