He def hits the head, so I see why it gets attention. Dumba threw a full body check from straight ahead though, and Kane had his head down far enough to collect snow with his visor. I wouldn't suspend for that.
- BulliesPhan87

And to me you can almost see Dumba stoop lower to go through the chest.. Not his fault Kane was gliding through the neutral zone with his head down trying to collect the puck.

Honestly, what else could Dumba do? Let Kane pile on another point?

Any chance we could scratch Streit? He's looked absolutely horrible the last week. Like, 100% terrible. He was an instant zone clear for the other team whenever he got the puck on the PP, and he is handling the puck on a Schultz-like level. I don't know what it is, but he's just plan bad right now.
- jmatchett383

He has looked completely lost lately. Idk what it is but even in Hawks game when we were in our zone there were times it looked he didn't know what to do and just watched as if he wasn't on the ice. His puck handling skills have been terrible too. Really a head scratcher why he's been on any PP unit

If this is the case, players should just always skate with their heads down below the opposing players shoulder height. Then every hit will be a head shot. Penalties and suspensions galore!

We should just implement a 2 hand touch rule. That would eliminate all of this controversy!

You're supposed to put stuffing in there, not leave the poop in it.

Why didn't Lex Luther get involved in the Dark Night movies? And why didn't Superman help out Batman with the Joker and Bane? Why didn't Batman offer to help out Superman in Man of Steel?
- jmatchett383

Nolan's Batman universe was one grounded in reality, hence no other superpowered beings, such as Superman. No Superman = no Lex Luthor.

As for the new movies, Batman didn't even know, as did most of the rest of the world, what was transpiring with Superman until the fight with Zod in Metropolis. By then it was too late to do anything.

If the healthy scratch list criteria was "recent play" as opposed to "last name either 'Manning' or 'Medvedev'" then Sreit would be the scratch.

Really cool article about the hindsight of the Weber offer sheet and why the Flyers won by not getting him.
