Theres nothing we can do to change that.. so the way I go about it is he is on our team, we need him to play well, an he has so that is all that matters right now.

Confirmed, and you've gotta think he's gonna carry a big price tag if his level of play holds up next season.

That is the reason I think he is head and shoulders over Sanheim and why the Sanheim hype has fizzled a bit. Sanheim is still gonna be a special player, but Provorov has high end top pairing potential because of how well he is rounded. There really isnt a weakness to his game.

AMac has been fine. He will never live up to his contract, but he is still a serviceable NHL level defenseman.

I'm not saying I expect he'll leave millions on the table, but I wouldn't be surprised if Umberger hung em up this summer. He earned his way off the roster, he knows he's cooked.

Thats going to happen to anyone who plays next to Ghost.

I am AMac's biggest critic. Hate the contract, hated the trade... But I'll eat crow, and continue to do so as long as he keeps playing the way he has been. He has been very good since he came back up.

I dont know.. He will be a 5 mil type player probably (which is why I suggested a 4 year deal last year and was slammed).. but the one silver lining is that even though his total play was great this year, the points were not there.

Amac has been one of our best d-men since he has been back in the lineup. His last shift last night was an absolute thing of beauty. Literally out worked Hossa forced a turnover, blocked a shot and ended up clearing the puck. Amazing game

he rounded out his game well and fulfilled the role asked of him, gotta think teams will pay up for that adaptability. I could see between 5 and 6.
