The enemy here, just want to congratulate the die hard fans here that support this team no matter what.

They have turned into one of the better stories in the league. Team allegiance doesn't blind me to that. Hakstol has done an unreal job and the team is rallying big time down the stretch.

Hahaha, it would seem that way, right? But the way the Flyers are playing they are now in complete control of their playoff fate.

The Rangers had a brutal weekend but for some reason they play their better games against the better teams in the western conference. Their record against the Hawks, Stars, Blues, Ducks, Kings and Sharks is 8-1-1.

Another nail biter last night. This team loves one goal games. Another good job by Mason. It's nice to have a playoff spot, but I have my doubts. In addition, when V-check comes back, what happens then?

If it's in June 2017 and the Flyers cap hit next season is $70m, that's $17.5m.

So MacDonald, Streit, Umberger, Read, and Schultz easily gets you there.

He has played pretty well lately. Have to give credit where it's due. His contract is still a bad one though.

Next year MDZ, Provorov, Ghost. That is some real skill, mobility, and puck moving on the backend. People are talking like Provorov may be better than Ghost. That is scary.

Amac has been one of our best d-men since he has been back in the lineup. His last shift last night was an absolute thing of beauty. Literally out worked Hossa forced a turnover, blocked a shot and ended up clearing the puck. Amazing game

Getting the 1st wildcard spot is far from unrealistic though. Big difference having to go through the Atlantic as opposed going through the Metropolitan. The Flyers match up well against teams like Boston, Tampa and even Miami.

would any of them outside of AMac even be eligible? It kind of defeats the purpose of the expansion draft if a team can just put days from expiration contracts out there and call it a day.
