i'm fully aware theyre going to limp in and probably get blown out by washington. but whatever. i'm just not one of those people that can actively root against a team i cheer for.

i totally get that. no matter how valuable it might be down the line for the team to miss in order to build their future, any fan with an ounce of competitiveness inside themselves wants their team to win no matter what.
flyers are a bubble team, capable of playing great hockey, with little chance to go deep should they get in. i still want them to get in because anything can happen. not to mention that i want our young guys - gost and cousins to get playoff experience as soon as possible.
