Save the McDavid's of the world, obviously prospects aren't cant miss, however I would rather have 7 of the top 100 prospects and be ranked as high as the Flyers are in prospects than not. Ghost is looking like a good one already and an absolute steal being drafted in the third round. we shall see If Laughton and Cousins continue to make strides. Most so called experts beam over the Flyers prospects. Time will tell but as I said, I rather be in the position they are in than not

they were behind only montreal for winning percentage for a very, very long time. decades. i honestly don't know where they rank now, but i'm sure it's still near the top.

there's no question the flyers have been mediocre over the last 5 years, despite having some very talented players. that said, they've still made the playoffs most of those years and won a series or two. they have a superior record of accomplishments compared to the rangers. simple fact.

as you point out that rangers won only THREE cups over the course of 40 seasons in a 6 team league. in my opinion, that IS remarkable. not almost. it's pathetic.
