I go to ESPN.com now to check scores, points leaders, etc.

How pathetic is that, ESPN.com, which doesn't even have an NHL tab on there quick link bar anymore, is an easier and faster tool than NHL.com........

And I liked the old ESPN.com site better than this version too! They keep changing the sites and they suck.

crowd gets quiet quick when they are losing. I don't think its the "we're not the best so F'em" attitude, less pink hats at a Bs game than Sox. Its hard to get excited when they play flat, which they have done at home a lot.

Hockey is very much about confidence and when your home crowd is dead silent until you score a goal, you naturally are going to have less confidence. There is a tangible reason they are better on the road and i personally think it has a lot to do with the lack of support from the crowd.

We have had season tickets the last 6 years and 10 packs going back another 5 and the crowd has been worse and worse. Not much support anymore, just a lot of angry over analyzing and NO chants.

the team is dreadfully boring. they're playing well and that's great. they're likely onto the playoffs which to me is a surprise. a nice one too. but we can only hope that the pace of play goes up ten fold in the playoffs. maybe it's an NHL thing and not isolated to the Bruins. the games are just, boring.

Naw, not everyone. Keep Kevan Miller, Quaider, Beleskey and Rinaldo. Thats a core you can build around.

The organization has themselves to blame. Tickets prices are brutal, the concessions are criminal, and the area around the garden is an excavation site that's going to get worse as the causeway renovation progresses. The latter makes travel in/out even more difficult than normal and the MBTA is not convenient for all fans. A lot of folks are having trouble making it to a 7PM start.

So when you combine those factors and then the players come out and give a lackadaisical effort people will get upset or worse disengaged. But look around when you're there too. How many diehards are really in that building right now? We've been priced out. Look at the TV ratings. They're still very much on the up.

That's the one thing they aren't. You never know what to expect with these guys. They can look unbeatable one night, and then look like the worst team in the league the next night. I think it's tough to call a team boring when they've scored the 3rd most goal in the NHL.

As far as the chants go, the Tuuk chants are still going strong, but not the LETS GO BRUINS like there used to be. I think that will change come playoff time.

On another note, it's time for claude to switch up the PP units. It's as bad as it was the year we won the cup...( )

They have had their fair share, but every team does. I think, like you said, it's more of an NHL thing. The lack of hitting and fighting plays a large part in that IMO

I've been saying the pp needs to change, but not so drastically. Eriksson shouldn't be bumped and krej should be off the first unit. Bergeron eriksson pasta spooner Krug . Then krej Marchand stemp chara belesky
