IF 28 is a piece of a larger deal that lands me a top 3 d-man. I do not hesitate.

Looks like 9 of Girgensons 14 points have come during a 19 game span when he was on a line with Eichel
- stashu

IMO Girgensons is a guy who manages 10-12 goals a season. Last year he had a 13% shooting percentage (anomaly, IMO) . The year before that 7%, this year about 6%

If he manages 125 shots and and 8% scoring rate he comes in at 10 goals.

He averaged 115 shots in his first two seasons.

McDavid has missed more in two. Z plays a hard grinding in the corners type game, you could be right though.

McDavid has played 2 seasons already? I must of taken a long ass nap.

OMG get Eberle and sign Stamkos and trade for Drouin! It's not fantasy hockey, pal.

Broke his hand in Erie is what I was saying. Do major injuries matter where they take place?

You would have probably posted this same comment last year if I said to trade for O'Reilly and Kane

Oilers will be moving out some parts.

No, but now that we have them, and pay them, and have to pay others soon, we shouldn't be talking about getting rid of value players for too expensive players (stamkos) or unknown crybaby players (drouin).

So how exactly are they supposed to build a contender? Gotta give to get as they say.

I think he gets moved for D-man, i know they need to upgrade the bottom 6 but thats usually done through moving picks of FA signings.

Yes, now that we have them, we are still a bottom 10 team. I guess were done then.

Did you look at any injuries Zemgus had when he was 16 to make it even?

Establish a top 6 (we're close) get 2 stud D (we're close) fill out with value and role players (we have those). I realize to have to give to get, that's where your prospects and draft picks come in. Why give up a piece you know you already have?

IMO Nuge = #1-2 D man
Eberle = Young #3 center + top 4 D man.

I know he played a pretty full year in the AHL before coming up if that counts, but you're right don't know about Latvia.

They probably (rightfully?) think Eberle is worth more than that. Kep in mind, when someone says "top 4 d-man", they mean a 3/4. Would you trade a guy that scores like Eberle for Larsson and Gorges?

a third line of foligno, larsson and girgens will probably cost around 7.5 mil going that option

I'd rather plug 2 kids (fasching/bailey type) with either larsson or girgens and use the extra 4 mil to upgrade the d or top 6

my 2 cents

After looking at the USHL #s he played 59 and 61 according to hockeydb. 60 game seasons in USHL, He's been pretty clean.

I still don't see it though. A 60+ point guy for a 3rd line defensive player and a 3/4 d-man. I think people here would riot if that was Murray sending off the scorer.
