i remember when he was on his way up in buffalo. he was described as a medium sized power forward that could skate and shoot pretty well. we have had fewer scoring power forwards in my lifetime than real number one centers, so this was promising. and once or twice a month for 9 years we actually saw this potential show up. he is a pretty good skater, and he does have a good shot, its the 25 days a month that he plays like an anonymous henchman that were unbearable.

McCabe looked good yesterday. Moulson was a ghost. Less pizza and more cardio for him.

He did a nice baton catch with his stick.

If you listen to Murrays comments on Moulson, it almost sounded if he told Moulson he needed to be a professional and get his ass in gear.
- ImThatGuy

i thought the book on moulson was he barely made it to the nhl and through hard work and understanding he had to go to the ugly places to score- he carved out an nhl career. then the top sabres prospect since perreault comes to stay at his house. i know murray is right, it just sounds so strange for a guy like that to not be doing whatever needs to be done.

I dont recall Stafford being good at anything other than scoring goals a bunch at a time and then really long dry spells

just my nickel though

Edit: and band practice

- Havic3814

You're recollection is 100% accurate. He's score 5 gols in 3 games and then zero over the next 6-8 weeks.......... and playing on teams that were NOT tanking.

As far as last night's game .......... until otherwise proven wrong, I'm going to maintain we played one of the worst goalie efforts I've seen in a long time. Not sure what happens to these guys ........... Hiller was a stud not long ago.

If the Sabres are able to duplicate this effort and production in the next few games ........... then it'll be 8th place at the end of the year and I won't be pleased.

Subaru dollar for dollar makes the best cars on the market. I'd love a WRX or STI but I can't get past "I'm 29, work in IT, live at my moms and drive this car like a complete (frank)ing tool" mystique.

Hope you dont have plans for the back seat

Its a fun little car, my brother owns one of the FRS variety. Not much getup before 3k rpms but it moves pretty nicely after that. Thing is great on gas. A blast to drive through corners.

It is a total nightmare in the snow, if you are dealing with that at all there isnt really a way around needing snow tires. He didnt go that route, and i got stuck on my street in about 4 inches of snow just moving it to snowblow last winter.

I knew exactly what I was buying it for... It's not economical or practical, it's just fun.

The gas mileage is much better than my last car though. Also it's my first RWD car.

RWD... I think it's the only car they make that does'n't come in AWD.
I could be wrong.

Luckily they close Nashville when it snows.
Agreed that there is not back seat, I'm pretty much just going to fold them down permanently and use it as a 2 seater.
The FRS is it's identical twin brother.

- Buffalo--Sabres[quote=mattsox]No Giving up on Foligno! Yes, he needs to step up and be consistent. I love the player when he plays as he did last night, he can generate momentum changes, which this young team needs.

I don't see him going anywhere yet unless he's part of a "Hockey Trade" or turns into the second coming of Moulson.quote]

May god help us with the #26 situation. I blame myself personally. I wanted him here, he got traded, I wanted him back. I got what I wanted.

Matt Moulson: when "he wanted to be here" was worth $25 million and a no trade clause.
