Missed the game tonight, but saw a gif of lundqvist knocking over his net. Why'd he do that?

I hope Dcoms stays off the Rags thread - there's a ban just waiting for him over there.

pens are famous for getting banned by going to the rags board on this site so he is probably already banned

There is a billion things I would rather do than go to the Rags site including ripping my own eyes out.

Since Pouliot and Cole had another nice game, do you even think about putting Schultz in the lineup? I don't.

I do. I wanna see what a pouliot - schultz pairing CAN do. atleast give the guy a chance... pouliot played good hockey with lovejoy and he has played good hockey with cole. he is getting better for every game.

If you were to visit I'm sure there would be harsh words & their ref is pretty quick to ban (I think he's a flyers fan) - so I believe. I'm hoping you just stay on here & bask in the win (especially after AV pulled Lundqvist!!!!)

Yeah I don't know. I just don't think you can bench either of them. Cole is playing with a chip on his shoulder and DP had another really good game. Granted, bringing in Schultz might have lit a fire under his ass, but what ever it is something seems to be clicking. We essentially paid a 3rd for what's going to end up being our short term 7th d man and our long term 8th (whenever Lovejoy gets back). That's not great asset management. Unless we think he's part of our long term plans. In which case maybe Schultz sitting out the rest of the season and collecting himself while learning under Gonch and watching Letang may be good for him.

I think you'll see him in a handful of games when they've got back to back. Gives them an insurance policy if there is an injury and helps keep other players fresh. We are really bad in the 2nd game of back to backs

I think you reward the guys that played well for you. Cole has done nothing to lose his job since his return to the lineup. I can't believe I'm saying this, but he's been solid in all 3 zones.

I think Pouliot-Schultz is a non starter. Do you really want DP to be the more defensive defenseman on a pair?

I think I could possibly see Schultz get in as a 7th dman now that Porter is hurt. Maybe that's the way they go. Although, I think Sheary will get a call up.

I was never, ever for getting rid of Cole. Always thought we should be more patient with him and give him more opportunities. He was solid down the stretch and playoffs last year when the blue line was decimated. He might go back to sucking, thats definitely possible, but if he continues this quality of play he deserves to be on the ice every night.

I'd be fine with that. Trying him at forward. With Porter out they can dress seven d-men

He should get a game here and there, but I just don't see him being a regular. Waste of a third.
