Pro Football Talk reports the Bills are 'frustrated' impending free agent LG Richie Incognito will not accept a cut-rate deal.

The Bills gave Incognito a chance last season, and he repaid them with an outstanding season. Now headed to free agency, the Bills apparently believe Incognito should give them a hometown discount. Likely signing his last big contract at age 32, Incognito understandably disagrees. It seemed like a foregone conclusion Incognito would return to Buffalo, but it now appears there is a real chance he hits the open market.

This is why i don't understand the love affair with Drouin... say what you want about Kane and his team attitude issues... If he was healthy and Peg was going to be playing in the playoffs I honestly believe he would of bucked up and played... this kid doesn't even want to be part of a team that has a great shot at another deep playoff run, why do you want someone like that on your team
- Havic3814

Well, no.

He DOES want to play for TB, and Yzerman is assigning him to Syracuse. Even the offer to return to the team was a return to the AHL affiliate, not the big club.

I don't know if that makes it any better for Drouin, but it sure doesn't look like he's any more pigheaded than Yzerman is.

I'm sure this has been asked before but I do not recall seeing it answered.
Can the Sabres actually buy out Moulson.
Thought I read somewhere that the CBA allowed only three buyout and we had done that already.

That was compliance buyouts after the last lockout. There are always contract buyouts allowed as they will still count against the cap hit.

McKenzie stated yesterday when talking to Yzerman, Stevie stated that the door for Jonathan to come back and play in Tampa has been open but that he has no desire to do so. Now... could that mean that he would have to do a rehab stint in Cuse? Maybe and thats completely understandable at this point... but i dont think the AHL after an injury was ever meant to be a long term thing

Buying out moulson is the worst thing we can do. it kills the cap in three years.

Trade Moulson (hold 1.1MM) and a 7th for a pick.

We would have to find a team that is basically desperate just to be at the cap floor during a tank. I wonder where we can find one? Maybe one that is almost like home for Moulson...

it's funny, pay the dt who got in trouble on the bills watch his money, but let the player who is getting a second chance for a bonehead move, walk an not pay him

this team has a 3 year window and if you have another hole on that o line, the window closes fast

Tonight's prediction:

6-5 Edmonton win in regulation
Johnson in net because who gives a damn about his trade value anymore
Eichel and Reinhart put on a show for all 5 Buffalo goals
Girgensons shuts down McDavid, and all of Edmonton's goals come from secondary scoring
