Thanks Glove. So sounds like he will provide more of a physical presence than Vatrano would? I guess they do need some grit. But I don't understand why they send down Randell to bring up this nobody. And why not play someone producing (Stemp) with Bergeron instead of Connolly. Ugh. Unless they know they still have Connolly and want him to develop something with that line... Kinda desperate to make Connolly work out I guess. I still rather see:
Marchy, Bergy, Stemp
Erik, Krej, Pasta
Belesky, Spooner, Connolly

I think it's typical Claude. He doesn't really know Stempniak yet so business as usual on Bergy's line to start off. You could very well see that change as the game goes on and Connolly continues to "electrify".
He also had a solid final 2 years at Providence College as well. Served final year as captain in which they won the Frozen Four so some leadership and "give a (frank)" there too. Makes me happy to see Kempainnen, Rinaldo and Talbot out of the lineup. I hope it (frank)ing stays that way. |

Now if Kevan Miller wasnt a thing we might be getting somewhere. |

So only people who agree with you are fans? What are you (frank)ing 5 years old douche bag? - glove_was_stuck
Didn't say that. Just a simple observation - anybody who disagrees with the vocal complainers on here are referred to as pink hats, or 5 year olds.

Patience. He's due for his yearly injury. Any game now. |

Try disagreeing without insulting said posters using passive aggressive bullpoop and you'll get different results. At least from me anyway. What a prize I know...I would feel cheated too. |

I'm kind of excited to see what happens tonight. Does that mean I'm losing my mind?
If Liles can be the answer to most of our D-men woes than what the hell have we been doing all year! And screw known commodity top four D-men if we can grab guys off the garbage teams getting paid the league minimum!
Greatly optimistic........as opposed to my normal realist mindset!
Here we come NHL!
Side-note When are Connolly and K. Miller going to go away. |

What do you guys think of the new guys so far?
Stempniak is a quick and smart two way player.
Liles is a more refined (defensively) version of Krug. Undersized but been around the block and is sneaky clever.
So far.
ADDED: Bergy seems to be angrier with every passing game. He is just pissed out there........... |

I don't know if it is my stupid blind optimism, but Stempniak looked good with Bergeron and Marchand. He defended the puck well and made some nice passes I think. I'll take this win, but they really need to shake up the PP. |
