He looked pretty good in the preseason if I remember right

He's been having Reinhart at center and Girgensons on the wing exclusively. In addition he's way more likely to try Eichel with Moulson because he's desperate and hopes his roommate can bail him out.

That was just so they are eligible for the AHL playoffs. Harrington or Hamilton said yesterday Bailey was definitely getting called up again for Tuesday. No mention of O'Riley. I'd give Carrier and Schnider a look or O'Dell but that's just me..

This team is very boring without O'Riley and will be even worse without McGinn. I don't see why not giving Carrier, Schnider, O'Dell a look up here to see if they have any offensive touch. Otherwise short of a couple lucky 3rd line goals and Eichel, Kane and Reinhart putting in a few - I expect most games we put up no more than 2 goals a game.

Tomorrow nights game is very meaningless. If McDavid and Eichel each score it means very little.

After the last game. What happens for Buffalo? No playoffs, no reward. We get to sit and see where the lottery puts us.

I get to watch this team lose again, knowing the more they now lose the better.

It would cost us too much. I wouldn't trade for his rights for anything more than a 3rd round pick. If we're really that wording about the Leafs getting him then trading for his rights wouldn't be worth it anyway. I'd rather find out quickly if he'll sign here and if not move on and try and get other good players.

I don't disagree about not trading the first rounder. If you read what a wrote and maybe I didn't convey it correctly. The Sabres want stamkos at all costs. They don't want a mario Williams situation to come up . If he hits open market anything can happen. They believe if they get him in a trade(which they already know he would be willing to come here) they will sign him. They will make sure it is a trade and sign
