So we used to drive a Pontiak Aztek (lol) that my father in Law gave to us. It was free so we didn't complain. It actually drove fairly well considering...


It bit the dust right by the Columbia Glacier and never worked again. Thankfully there's the hotel right there that took myself, Mrs Lums, Brother Lums, Mother Lums and puppy Lums in for the night until we had some friends drive out and get us

lol, that's a perfect commercial for the Aztek in that scenery, ruined.

Yeah, you don't really want to break down anywhere out there. I got CAA coverage when I was driving out there a lot, I had to use it a couple times too.

Using a pontiac aztek as a generalization that all NA cars suck......well thats just foolish.
The aztek was one the biggest piece of sh!-t cars ever built.

But.....never complain about a free car

TBH it drove very well.... but was very unreliable. The only one we (or the family) have had that was reliable is the Jeep that we currently drive. Next up will be a Lexus

As for the free car, we can't complain... but we were close to better. The father in Law was driving out to us to bring a vehicle, and got hit and the car written off (all parties okay)... so he was in Winnipeg and was about to fly out to EDM, and we started looking at cars. I found a 2008 Subaru for less than the insurance cost of the other car, and was about to call him to let him know, and the phone started ringing... it was the FiL telling us that he'd seen an Aztek in WPG for super cheap (surprise!) and had bought it for us and would drive it to us the next day...

I'm shocked to find out that imports don't break down.
