Hextall wants to keep him, so he's set a high price. Florida turned it down.
- Jsaquella

It's an "he's available...but he's really not" asking price. If the contract extension proves it's going nowhere, that price comes down. Maybe someone accepts -- you just never know.

They want to keep raffl fine but it better not be anymore than 1.5 or 1.75 per the guy can skate and can bang a little bit. The guy has rocks for hands and the coach doesn't trust him for special teams so why am I giving much a crap about him
- Just5

Anywhere between 2.25-2.75 is my guess. Probably three years -- which hopefully makes AAV better.

The reporter that leaked the Raffl offer later tweeted he'd be a pure rental, and from taking to others he thinks even if traded Raffl would like to return to Philly this summer

Totally buy it. Everyone on the team appears to be best buds with him in just about every team video or social media post. The Flyers have a very tight locker room and he seems happy to be here.

I think it will have to take a first and a good prospect to get Streit. I get the feeling the organization really appreciates Streit's presence in the locker room as well as his performance on the ice. Considering a rookie took his place on the PP and there hasn't been any complaints heard from Streit, speaks to the type of team mate he is to the guys. I could see the following pairing next season:

MDZ-Ghost
Streit-Provorov

The days of the lumbering dman who chips the puck up the boards for the Flyers defense is quickly coming to an end.

I'm slightly concerned about the last 2 wins and what Hexy thinks of it

If you're worried just look what he did to their best d man last year when in the hunt.

He's prudent enough to not have changed his mind. Though I doubt he has a player yard sale. Fair value for depth rentals. Overpayments only for the bigger commodities.

Hexy seems to have a long term plan in place for this team. I doubt two games changes much of anything.

He's allinforthecup. Time to move the chips to the center. Pull the trigger, Hexy. The Sedins are just waiting to be poached

Woah...Throwing Manning in there, that's going too far.

I'm really not -- I mean, seriously. They did some good things today, but Arizona had the better of the play for long stretches and if they finished at all, probably should've scored a few more

They're not ready. They still need to make sure they are accumulating assets and selling if they get solid offers so they can have financial flexibility

I desperately want them to be ready, but they're not. And if I can see that, with my lack of patience, then I have no doubt that Hextall sees it

Yes.... Captain, leader by example, one of their best players.

I hope Drouin is dealt soon. I feel like a third of the league is hanging on this decision .

I actually wanted him to get a few more games earlier this season. Just a little surprised that they gave multiyear, but if he earned it, more power to him
