I wouldn't like it if they traded Larsson and I hated the Franson signing from the beginning and said so about it last summer. If we can get a decent return for McGinn, Murray will probably do it but I think he'll make a hard pitch for him in free agency.

So the Ducks apparently need Goltending and Forward help, as Stewert is down with a broken jaw...not sure when he is set to return...but power forwards with a broken jaw aren't too powerful.
How about McGinn, CJ and a pick for Shea Theodore...with the pick being one of our 3rds. If necessary, move the 3rd to our 2nd and get their 2nd in return.

I don't think you'll see that big of a deal, especially out of Anaheim, nor do I think they move Theodore. CJ seems destined to go to SJ.

I also wonder how many buyers are left? Without looking at their cap space I would assume LA, Anaheim, Florida, Dallas, Pitt, NYR and maybe Detroit.

Lots of dummies trying to pee on people around here. All throwing shade wherever to see if it will stick. Trolltastic!

As exciting as a big move is, I can't forsee that happening now, but do see it at the draft. Moves now will be to clear room for younger players and to gain draft pick currency. Mortagaging young talent will only happen if a top 4 dman is made available and they have term left on contract. As for McGinn, he is 3rd liner, playing above his talent level. This most likely result of who he is paired with. Address the bigger picture in off season when prices are lower and teams will need to get below the cap. Then we will be dealing from position of strength with picks and prospects available and cap space.
