I always want them to win, but if there's a way to convert Streit into a near-term asset that can help as soon as next season, then I'd do that

He's been a good Flyer and played to his contract, but they have shown they can play without him and win games, and don't need him on PP1 anymore

I'd move Schultz, too, but at the same time, someone still has to play defense, so not everyone can go

I think we're all in agreement with this. I don't think anyone dislikes Streit but Ghost makes him expandable. I think it's time to move him.

I would be happy for Ov and the Caps if they won this year. It's been along time coming for them.

So would I. I was rooting for them last year in the playoffs to win. They added the pieces to make a better run this year and They've looked great with those acquisitions. Plus it's always nice to see J Williams lift a cup

It's going to be like last year. Move a couple of pieces without gutting the team so they can still attempt to pass off to the fans that they want the team to have a legitimate shot at the playoffs.

Do you think Gudas is moved even after the report of 2 2nds? I know just a rumor but if the offer was legit , do you think offer still stands and or Hexy is waiting for a better offer for him?

I've seen a lot of crazy things happen in hockey. But the Flyers beating the Caps in a playoff series this year might take the cake. They are that good.

I am starting my beard now...oh wait, I always have a beard. Playoffs baby!

Unless Morin is ready next year or they find another heavy hitting defenseman, I kind of want to keep Gudas around. They have no one else that plays a physical game.

Justin Williams definitely adds motivation from a Flyers standpoint. I have to admit, I like Ov a lot. He's probably counted out every year as a guy losing his touch when let's say a young player like Stamkos enters the league but Ov continues to prove he's the best pure sniper in the league.

If they can get a good return on both, move em. I have no problem finishing the season with some combo of Ghost, AMac, Gudas, Medvedev, Manning, Morin and Alt.

My heart agrees with you, but my head says were nuts. Even if they squeak in, they are going nowhere this year. I don't advocate giving players away in a firesale (unless the players are Umberger or AMac!), but if you can get 1st or 2nd round picks or good prospects for guys who aren't going to be here in a year or 2, you have to make the deal.

White is in the same boat as he was in last season around this time. While I don't think he's off limits, I think the organzation likes him and I think he likes being here.
