Good luck with that? You'll learn as you grow that most people only care about themselves and it just keeps getting worse as I get older.

That's not to say everyone is that way but a significant enough amount to make the world an often poopty place to live.

Even non-selfish people are often pretty poopty. Being poopty is just part of the human condition, or something like that.

For the record, I care about each and every poster on here.

I will even help some of you guys check into a mental health clinic should any of you wish.

Funny you said that.

I thought about Moulson too. I wonder if he could ride shotgun with Giroux like he did with Tavares. But I am not a fan of his skating. We say Couturier is slow but moulson seems like he is dragging a midget on his back.

We could always get Grabner who skates like the wind and finishes like Nodl.

Sorry but you aren't getting Grabner unless you give us 2 firsts and a second. We gave up FIVE prospects for him.

Yeah, you can tell by the wording of that fourth period article its complete bs.

And I agree with the point from whoever said it would be best if we make the playoffs for experience for our young guys. We really won't get anything worth mentioning in any trades we make involving our spare parts. However, I want that playoff experience to begin next year and us to use this mediocre year to get us one more elite forward prospect. Then roll with it next year and go for the playoffs. If we got ourselves a Laine, much of our concerns would be forgotten or at least greatly diminished and we'd be set up for quite a while.

I was told there would be trades. I am waiting. I may have to leave at some point, but I will be waiting there too.

Playoff experience would be great...but you cannot just look at the standings and say oh look how close we are. The reality is that it is more ground to make up than it seems like. We have extra depth so selling it off would be the best for the future.

The Flyers wont be selling anyone that is actually useful to them long term, so it is a win/win or win/win scenario.

they sell off for assets and make the playoffs or they sell off for assets and get a higher pick

I know.

BUt I think Moulson has really struggled to produce. So not sure slow and unable to finish is a good combo

No, people are really not.

If you want to be one of those cynical people, that's fine. But to that, I simply say you're missing the point of being human.

That's all I have to say about that.

Off to transplant land! tac for all

Just saying, we didn't get Konecny for the Coburn pick, we had to add a 2nd.
- jmatchett383

Fine then Coburn and half of Timonen vs having Konecny, Tomek and Gudas. They don't have a chance at Konecny without that second first rounder. still do that every day

Yeah, I don't think we're making it this year anyway. I want them to get the best pick they can this year and then next year I'll start having more realistic hopes for it. But I don't mind if we sell off our spare parts but we're not getting much for them either way. Who really wants gagner, schultz and the others?
