Edler is an interesting name as well. Basically excels at everything Risto doesn't (yet).

Age might be a problem there though.

We need a Brian Campbell plus more this team is (frank)ing slow as poop
- gerbe75pts

IMO, Numminen was a better defenseman than Campbell.

The guy that actually reminds me most of Numminen in the league right now is Hjalmarsson. He's an every situations guy and does most of it at a high level, yet somehow still flies completely under the radar.

I'd take Hjalmarsson on this team in a heartbeat. I'd be willing to give up pretty much anyone not named Eichel on our team for a guy like him.

I made it through the 1st period. Fell asleep as soon as intermission started for the most part. It was later than I really wanted to be up, since I've been getting up at 5:30 am these days.

Do you get up and run for 3+ miles at that time of the morning? Because I can function on less sleep, but not if I want to actually get my gym time in.

Old guys rule!

I'm up between 5:00am and 5:40am every day without fail, and without an alarm. Weekends I still wake up at that time, but just hang out a catch a few more little naps.

Nope . I keep myself pretty busy without having to do that fad thingy. 24 stairs from basement to bedroom. Do that 10 times a day

Run for 3 miles

So off_topic...but so what:

I got my poop du jour
Would you like some more
Right here on the floor
I'm gonna give you some more

You grab a good book or an old newspaper and you sit down on the throne
You don't need nobody to show you how, you can do it all alone
Sometimes its funny, sometimes its runny but it always makes my day
If you find somebody that's constipated, this is what you say

Poop du jour, poop du jour, poop du jour

I got something deep inside me
I gotta let it come out
It'll really make my day
I think I'll sit down and shout

You go to sit and think
You go to sh!t and stink
It gives me a rush every time I flush
You might find the Missing Link

If you got no self control
Just let the good Times roll
You can do it in your school
Drop the kids off at the pool

Poop du jour (x3)

Guitar solo

Chorus:
You don't want no poop du jour, you ain't got no poop du jour
(X4)

Cop a squat, drop a load
Take a walk down the Hershey road
Pinch a loaf any size
Like Cracker Jack,
You might find a prize

A better joy
You'll never find
Its the only gift
that you leave behind

Whenever I think I can't take no more
All I want is my poop du jour!

I wrote and recorded this song in 2005. Yes, it is trademark protected.

Unfortunately for me, my body doesn't take kindly to just getting normal every day physical activity. If I didn't get some gym time in, in 10 years I'd probably be one of those ladies at Walmart that uses the electric shopping carts. I enjoy food way too much to starve myself, so I take the lesser of two evils.

Agree with all those points. Big 22 fan but at the end of the day he has to start scoring to stay 3rd line. I just think GMTM has one more shakeup move to set the lineup to his liking and one of those 4 would be on the move
- yen6d1

With the recent Kreider talk, could he play with Larsson and Kane? That could be an effective "3rd" line

Kreider and Kane play a similar game and would be forechecking fire.

Dont mean to pile on but I find this very interesting.

From the Oil Blog discussing the DMan they traded last night:
http://www.hockeybuzz.com...lockbuster-Deal/191/75053

Larsen was an interesting player with the Oilers because he moved with the puck very well. In terms of 5v5 offence he was tied with Klefbom that season as 2nd on the Oiler D in P/60 with 0.74 in 2013-2014. He only appeared in 30 games with Edmonton but it was clear when he was here that his niche would be as a puck mover. Unfortunately for him, it looked very much like his 180 pound frame was not capable of handling NHL forwards in the defensive zone. By my eye he looked overwhelmed when trying to break up the cycle. Be it because of his miniature stature or not, he was not getting the job done.

Now, from Wikipedia:

I was 185 for years. Couldn't get past that weight no matter how much I ate or worked out. Tried weighing more for hockey to no avail. 4 years of college, another one after that and I weigh 235. My conclusion, should have drank more beer in high school. Would have weighed 235 and crushed kids.

We're going to have A LOT of talent in our top9
As long as we have 3 lines producing,
I don't see the need to label guys as "top6" or "top line" etc

You mean the defenseman who ducked and covered from the Kane hit and ended up hurting himself as a result of the duck and cover?
