This has made me wonder for a while now if winning the first pick is actually a good thing for us. We know matthews is the best player in the draft, but is he a better winger than Laine or Puljujarvi?

I'd assume if you put Crosby on the wing he'd be a better winger than Taresenko. But if he's very picky on playing center like Hodgson and Grigerenko were then maybe we could run into trouble.

I don't really agree with that. Crosby is a distributor, so putting him on the wing he might score more but you limit his ability to do what he does best which is create plays. Obviously not the case with every player but it makes me wonder if we'd be handicapping him or any of our centres by moving them to the wing.

I mean Larsson looked worse than useless on the wing .Sam Reinhart, the guy everyone had as twice as many assists player has twice as many goals as he has assists playing on the wing.

Just curious as it seems some usual suspects haven't been on here in awhile. I come and go. Admittingly closer to the deadline, draft and free agency but pop up once in a while as well during the season.
