Does he really? I mean Reinhart was understandable. It was mostly about getting tougher and faster. Tkachuk already has that, at least imo.

A 4th overall pick generally doesn't start in the NHL statistically at least. Especially one that has OHL eligibility. I'd like to believe he is ready but I do worry a bit. I'm not really into waiting another year to wait on our pick next year playing in NHL. It didn't really benefit Reinhart. I think Reinhart learned more in his small stint in Rochester last year then he did cruising around 17 year old's. He did need to get bigger and faster which he did but that wasn't from playing in the WHL.

He has a habit? He has been here two years? Not to mention most teams send their draft picks down since only a handful are ready each year. I'd rather do what's best for the development of the player.

When he was in Ottawa and Anaheim they waited awhile on players. Look at Bobby Ryan...

I'm all for development if they are not ready but if you're drafting in the top 4 three years in a row I'm done with waiting. This is the last year I'd put up with finishing in the bottom 5.

I don't think Tkachuk goes back. Again could be wrong but the consensus seems to be he's ready at least for top 9 duties.

He wasn't the one calling the shots in either of those places. As far as I'm concerned, he is more aggressive with bringing in players. Eichel might have been a no brainer, but he gave Reinhart a fair chance last year as well.
