"Assuming the Capitals stay healthy on the blue line for the rest of the season and then the playoffs, their three defensive pairs could be set, so Washington may just be looking for an insurance piece. A player as pricey as Hamhuis may not be worth it, so someone like Buffalo’s Mike Weber may be a better fit."

Kris Baker wants the sabres to make a late season run to 20th... someone should explain to him how momentum from how you do the previous year doesn't carry over... ask Columbus how that worked out. Best result would be another bottom 5 finish. Preferably top 3 pick

Who cares? The main point of this is the guy who posted the bit about McGinn clearly took it from that article or they both have the same source. (Which I doubt)

It wasn't him who posted it it was some guy named "Simple"

His source is Michael Grosso from twitter

"Hearing that McGuinn is likely to re-sign with the Buffalo Sabres but a source also said that if a team is willing to offer up a 2nd round pick + other assets (prospects) for the veteran forward, Tim Murray will take it and run."

- bluengold12

The kid that has no inside sources and was best friends with that sources guy good to know

Ugwand to Detroit.

Foligno to Dallas.

Larsson or somebody is going to Chicago...

Cheers!

Oh and McGinn gets re-signed by Monday, probably over the weekend.

I'm going to say Markus ends up with the Kings I think that would be a perfect fit for him

I love your idea for Larsson with Chicago would be a perfect shutdown center for them

I think Jamie McGinn ends up back with the sharks

I like Foligno to LA as well. If we added could we get Tanner Pearson or Adrian Kempe? You're out there Giz, who would they trade for Foligno?

Sharks have no cap room. If anything Johnson could end up there and we get their back up in a swap plus like a 6th.

If we trade McGinn he's going to end up on a team like Chicago with us getting back one of their contracts for a higher pick. I think he resigns though.

Larsson and Foligno and McCabe are the big wild cards though.

Really? I hadn't heard that one. I thought they'd trade Pysyk before McCabe. Preferably I'd like to keep both unless we're getting a defenseman back

Only reason I'd say McCabe is because he's and RFA and has been in Bylsma's dog house in the past. I like him and would prefer to give him another 2- 3 years here to see what he's got but Murray hasn't been afraid to pull the trigger on trading a young defenseman before... (McNabb)

I would love tanner pearson I think that would be a wonderful Hockey trade I thought he was going to have a breakout year last year and then he got hurt..

I do wonder how much it would take to get Jaden Schwartz from the blues
