if okposo wants to stay why wouldn't you guys want to keep him. He is the 2nd best player on the team in points and he doent play with Tavares so you cant even make the Moulson argument. SIGN KO. How can you think KO not worth 5-6MM a year but grabovski makes 5 and Kumelin makes 4M+.
Also - Bailey is very good contract, he isn't going anywhere.
PAP is past his prime and his best years were as an islander. Getting him or boyes would not be an upgrade. - Spartiarti
If you didnt read between the lines from Okposo's quotes..........he's going to go to the highest bidder. Its his big payday. The isles are cheap....and are not going to pay up for Okposo. |

No he's not, Brock Nelson is, plus if your satisfied with KO performance thru out his career then keep excepting the stale brand.
Grabo & Kuli were overpaid to attract but hopefully that shouldn't be the issue moving forward..... - Ur Not Me
I was not crazy about the Grabo and Kuli deals either. Does not mean we give a bad contract to KO. The guy is not showing much in a walk year to me. |

In terms of KO, I want the Isles to be cheap. |

Isles (at that time) had holes in roster & cap space, couldn't attract any worthy FA so they overpaid a bit for 2, no big deal bc Isles still have cap space.... |

It's true. Isles could afford to give out those deals. |

Capuano: Halak in goal, Bernier in for Grabovski, same D. No debut for Pulock tonight. Lines: 12-91-18, 86-51-21, 27-29-15, 17-53-16.

De Haan will be off ice next few days, may join team next week. Capuano says "you will see Ryan Pulock on this trip." |

If the Isles are really going to re-acquire PAP (which I actually think makes some sense), why wait until next week? Grabovski's out of the lineup now. |

Who are you kidding he'd be on the first line instantly trying to recapture that "magic" from the good ole' days. - Cptmjl
I agree with you. no chance that happens. PAP is done. |

Nelson going to cost us big bucks next contract. |

I'd think the Wild would be a good team to get him in against. I know they've been playing better as of late but they are for the most part offensively challenged. Have to love our record with Strait and Zidlicky in the line up it speaks volumes and is pretty scary this road trip is huge for us. |

Maybe the problem is Cappy does not always wear his glasses? Cannot see how lousy guys like Strait, Zid, and Bailey are. - ses111
Grabo has been invisible but I'm having a hard time understanding what the (frank) Bernier brings? Guy is as useless as can be. |

I would have rather carried 7 D and double-shifted a forward. |
