Franson is going to be a tough sell right now. We don't know that he'll be healthy before the deadline (not that it makes him completely untradeable, but it is less likely). He also has term left on his contract.

Only a year left at a reasonable hit. but true i forgot about the injury and it doesnt sounds good

He's also slower than molasses. He's really a specialist, so the team that would make the most sense would be someone pushing for a spot or who's already in a playoff spot but has a struggling PP. If you're giving him mostly offensive zone starts he's fine for the most part, but if the puck goes the other way, watch out.

This is not the place for politics or anything that can end up in a political debate.

I generally have no issue with off topic conversation, but politics and religion have no place here. At all.

All of this was more or less true for Polak/Spaling. They got two 2nds for him and i seriously can't get over that. If they take a contract back they should get something decent for him

Exactly why i'd try and move him lol.
I'd like to see them try and trade up into the 2nd round at least with those 3rds,
Almost think it could be easier to do now than at the draft

Didn't have to open it to know it has political implications. Just look at the name in the link. It's called logic skills.

This is not the place for politics. The refs say it all the time.

Looks like 8 teams in the playoffs right now are under 20% PP scoring, with Florida being the worst at 16.4%, Rangers, Lightning and Red Wings all about 1% better than Florida as the next worst playoff teams.

The Rangers could be an interesting target. Especially with McDonagh's banged up melon for the second time in about a week.

I agree with this, Imo it would help him a ton to kill penalties with legwand.
I was a huge legwand hater the day of that trade but he impresses me each game doing the little things. Good player for the room too

- yen6d1

Legwand is a UFA
I think Schaller actually takes Legwand's spot next year

Where did I say I was offended? I simply said this is not the place for that topic. You want to discuss politics or the such, find a political message board.

You seem to have some sort of issue with me these days, which is fine. I couldn't possibly care less. But you've been pretty rude and just nasty to me overall lately. Maybe it's time to go get the stick that's in your ass removed.

I don't normally like speaking for others but for at least a few of us, the point in not trading Girgensons is that his value to other teams is about 50% of his value to the Sabres, therefore trading him, unless more is included in the deal from Buffalo, would mean a rather underwhelming return.

That's all

where was I rude?

serious question, since I honestly can't recall being rude to anyone IN A LONG TIME

in fact when I was being scolded as an uneducated fan , not you, I simply took the high road

take a flier on kovy, frowned on
trade gus and plug larsson on third line center, frowned on
extend johnson 2 more years, frowned on
skunk is capable of putting up 50 points this season if he gets top 6 minutes, frowned on
miller is not elite, frowned on

again this part in not meant to be directed at you, but since we have the next 1,000 future nhl gm's in our forum, figure out what the f#ck you guys/gals want

if you want it to be a free for all, don't get bent over a link

if you want it to be strictly hockey, your opinion is no more or less important than mine, rico martin or texting sources

I swear with advanced stats the fans have gotten dumber over the years instead of looking at the player with the best representation, the eye test

stinks

he was behind the 8 ball playing in the ahl at a young age, the lack of quality centers in rochester is still probably holding him back. A price to pay when you take 4 centers in the first rd in 4 years and none are in rochester

and larsson can play well on the third line, with a cheaper contract and gus can be a piece in a trade to get a top 3 d man or a top 6 winger

assuming this coach is not going to commit to playing him on the second line wing, where he should be playing once moulson stinks and ennis has a run in with a toilet after stinking up first niagara center
