Islanders should be interested in a Hamonic and a prospect for Myers and Ladd. I'd even give Winnipeg Bailey. |

Thats actual fair value for Hall lol - Danformo
In what world? Hall is a Franchise player. Hamonic is not. |

A 1st rd pick, a #2-3 defender on an amazing contract, a middle 6 forward, and a grade A prospect isn't enough? Ok then.
Please go review the Rangers Nash trade. |

Exactly. Edmonton fans certainly way overvalue their players. |

Yeah to a sensible and somewhat intelligent fella like yourself. There are some Islanders fans that think Hamonic is Drew Doughty east. |
|
|

The only way Islanders trade Hamonic before the deadline is if it's Hamonic + for Taylor Hall. Snow doesn't want anything to do with Trouba and I don't blame him. Now, Hamonic, Lee, Dal Colle, and 2016 1st rd pick to Edmonton for Hall. That's a trade I'd make now. - lackoffaith
For real? Dude, I'd take that for sure |

Don't let that one guy speak for all of us. There would certainly be some who scoff at the deal, but there's likely a large contingent of Oilers fans who would happily take such depth with McDavid in the fold now. I like and appreciate Hall as much as the next guy, but depth like that would be awesome! |

Gostisbehere (34 pts) is only a handful of points away from matching Ekblad's rookie total (39 pts). |

Ek pulling rumors out of mid air again
Sorry jets fans but hamonic and a prospect are not going to the jets, we dont want trouba. Is he a great player and have a higher potential than hamonic? Yes but for 6+ mill and a agent who tells his guys to hold out....no thanks
We could get more from the oilers for just hamonic
Not to mention calgary would love him
You can have hamonic but not for any RFA or UFA - Flexingtheshaft
Out of mid air. I always thought he pulled them out of his a** |

Isles must get Ladd and or Hartnell. They are so soft it's stupid. Plenty of prospects along with players they need to unload. Garth and Cappy know they are out unless they shock the hockey world by making a deep run this year, and it's not happening with the current roster. |

The Islanders aren't a Ladd or Hartnell away from contending IMO. It's looking more and more like they will play the Rangers - not the Capitals - in the first round. |

Obvious Hyperbole to state that some fans of the Islanders will over value Hamonics worth.Certainly not all and certainly not exclusive to one teams fan base. Calm your tits. |

Agreed, but i would be careful ahout trading for ladd, i would give conditional picks based on if he resigns or walks as a FA...hartnell would be a good pick up but whats he worth? Especially to a team that traded away there number one center and are looking a little weak at the forward position. Maybe one of the prospects? But i dont see garth trading any of them yet. |

Hartnell would come for fairly cheap. You get, cheaper albeit less impactful bottom 6 forward would probably do it. |

The guy only hit 80 points 2 years ago..... Put him on a good team and he will fight for the scoring title. Seriously they guy is slightly under a point per game playing with a Rookie and Purcell on a bad team |
