I'm a bold man apparently. I say things people don't like/don't want to face/can't handle. Me and my terrible pity party, ignoramus views.
- One_Eyed_Sweede

I found this particular statement humorous. I dont want either of the players mentioned.

Because I disagree with you? And I'm ignorant?

- One_Eyed_Sweede

I don't think you agreed nor disagreed with me, I think your statement was an ignorant one. You're implying stealing wins from teams can only be if the team is a worthy opponent. That is false. Stealing a win would be winning a game that the team had no business winning. Two months ago had it been Florida, you would say the same thing, now they are first in the Atlantic. Boston was outplayed by Columbus and Rask kept them in the game with several spectacular saves. Hence my initial comment, and your ignorant one.

Laugh it up Mr. Jokey Jokerson.

Chara made the biggest mistake last night which led to Columbus' only goal... but nobody is talking about that...

Everyone just wants to slam K Miller again...

Chara is the biggest problem with the team... not K Miller, not C Miller being in Providence... Chara... a defender who can't defend anymore is leading the team in ice time, and plays in almost every situation. He gives up terrible plays left and right, and everyone looks to throw K Miller under the bus... it's hilarious

Loui is more important to this team than Chara is... at least he plays defense.

What in the blue hell are you babbling about? Let's review shall we?

-I think Rask is overrated and rarely steals a game,. At that salary he should be giving you more.
-You disagree with that view.
-Today you call me out because Rask "Stole a game"
-I made the point, sarcastically, that the Bruins once again struggled for 2 points against a bottom 5 team. Yes CBJ has been playing better and yes the Bruins won. Everything is awesome. But CBJ is a bottom 5 team. Actual fact. Get your Googles out if you need proof.
-You call me ignorant for said commentary.

So how does that make me ignorant? It makes me a sarcastic wise ass sure, but ignorant? You shouldn't hurl insults or label people for seeing things differently than you or for employing sarcasm or any sort of humor. Not only makes YOU sound ignorant and but also makes you sound like a Richard.

You are now free to pound sand and I bid you good day!

I don't 100% know how it works but I think C.Miller, Morrow & Trotman have 2 way contracts and can be sent down. I think K.Miller has a one way contract. I think that is the reason K.Miller is being favoured. However I don't think it would hurt anyone's feelings to put K.Miller on waivers.

I could be wrong on this.

- Tachmo

the 1 way two thing only impacts the money they make. if a player on a 1 way goes down he makes the same or very close in dollars. depending on age, when the signed their contract and games played they are either don't need to clear waivers or they do. so c miller because of age or one of those elements is waiver exempt and can be sent down directly without passing through waivers. it was the easiest way to get a guy off the roster without threat of losing anyone.

he'll also get 1st pairing minutes in prov and get a chance to play more which is probably better than sitting in the press box.

this should also allow more freedom to let morrow loose and see what the kid has before TDL and asses whether they keep him for 3rd pairing next year or move him in a trade with other prospects.

All I'm saying is that he stole the game for them. That is all. Do you agree with that or not?

Stop being a woman about it. I'm just saying he stole a game finally. If anything I'm agreeing with the fact that he hasn't been stealing games this season.

And for the record, my initial comment about him stealing the game was being facetious...

Lastly, I didn't know you were glove... I thought you were being adversive for the sake of being adversive.

You and I are the only ones that I think see eye-to-eye with this in regards to Chara. He's (frank)ing done. Been on the ice for the last 8 goals against and caused the one last night because he's simply too slow to keep up with NHL players now. Looks absolutely out to lunch in his own end.

But Kevan Miller is a huge problem, and has been all year. He must have some nude pictures of CJ and is blackmailing him to consistently get in the lineup. Just a distaster.

The fact that Chara and Kevan are the 1st PK unit on D is just plain wrong, and if we didn't have such good penalty killing forwards, it would be a lot worse

Also, anyone who bashes Rask is a complete moron (which makes sense with most of the bruins fan commenters on here). We'd be in the bottom 5 in the league if it wasn't for Tuukka making at least 3 ridiculous saves per night. The fact that he has 4 shutouts playing with defence like this, and Chara's 25 minutes a night is quite amazing if you ask me.

Rask is still,a top 5 goalie in this league, bottom line

maybe bashing Rask is a bit much, i agree. but the day dreaming about how else to use a $7 million cap hit is fair.

I challenge you to find a goalie, Rask's calibre or better, that you could find for under 7 million.

That's totally fine if you want to daydream about how else to use a $7 million cap hit... but you should be dreaming of Chara as the guy that gets shipped out... not Rask!

Actually he is ranked 12th

EDIT: That link filters by wins, but filtering by SV% and GAA further damages your Top 5 argument.

Chara Seids
Krug K.Miller
McQuaid C Miller

Done

Size and speed on each pairing (more or less)
You have someone to handle the poopheads if you need to, and some scoring ability on each pairing.
Let Trottman and Morrow fight for 7 th.

I would take rask over the bulk of the goalies ahead of him "stat wise".

Crosby sucked balls "stat wise" for half the season, wasn't in the top 80 offensively, does that mean 80 players are better then him or is it the system and team in front of him that's the problem?

Youre right. We could take that 14 million and put it towards a goalie via free agency. Go and spend 6 million on Hiller or Cam Ward as our starter. 1 million cheaper than rask so it makes sense right?

As I said, Rask is still one of the best goalies in the league, even if the stats (FROM 1 SEASON) don't reflect that. He's an elite goalie, elite goalies get paid.

Good penalty killing forwards, as I said, and a good road PK. We are 21st in the league in Home PK

I'm not on here saying Rask sucks. Never once said that. But I do not believe he is living up to that contract. So (frank)ing insult me all you (frank)ing want ya (frank)ing female genitalias. I also question whether he is truly elite or that next tier down. (frank) me right?

Currently playing:
Price for next 3. Makes less. Proven he can carry a team.
Quick. Actually gets it done in the playoffs. Could probably handle in Montreal.

Future goalies:
Hellebuyck
Fucale
M. Jones. Starting to wonder if trading was the right move.
