I honestly wouldn't have cared if he hadn't of had such a question mark season last year. This was supposed to be is prove it season and I think it's arguable wether or not he is. I mean last year it was well it was is first year in the O and it was oh he was battling injuries and suspensions and time and the wjc. He was supposed to shred it this year. This is a guy who is 6'3 210 (a man amongst boys) but he isn't exactly playing like that so I'm just wondering what's the excuse this year ? Or you guys just don't want to hear it because it kind of sucks. I'm not saying he isn't a a good player but what I am saying is I don't think he is playing like a 6th overall pick to me he is playing like late first or second round pick. That doesn't mean he still won't be a good player, but why is it stupid for any of us to be concerned this is our highest pick since Larsson. It's our highest forward pick since ? It's like when something isn't going to plan with the Devils some of you want to just pretend it's not happening but it is.

I'm not saying your wrong but in most cases you wait longer for defence to come along then you do forwards. I just don't get the whole you can't be worried until literally the point of him being 21-22. I wouldn't care at all if we took him 15th or 20th or in the second round that would be great. What worries me is this is the guy we took 6th overall. I mean speers is almost doing just as well on a way less talented team and was taken in the third round so that's great I don't just think he is meeting expectations he is exceeding them but I don't feel the same about Pavel, at least not yet.
