Random information. Chara was on the ice for all 6 Wings goals. Felger pointed it out on a segment. I didn't realize it the other night, but watch the video and notice what he was doing and where he was on the goals.

Sharks are in playoff position but this is due to their weak division. The pick from them will likely be no lower than maybe 20-21, same with our own pick. Not can't-miss territory but you can get pieces for the future at that range. I would think a d with the higher pick then a winger with the other. Or both d.

Maybe we have different ideas of what 'legit' is. The east is weak after washington, I assume you at least agree with me on that point.

So if the B's add a defenseman, you're telling me there's no chance at all that the B's can make noise against Detroit? or Florida? or Pitt? or NYR/NYI? or some stupid team that sneaks into the wildcard like NJ? You're just having fun throwing a pity party. All of those teams have holes and of course the B's could beat them in a 7 game series. Could. I'm not saying they definitely will, just that they could.

I think you need look up meaning of that word.

Now back to reality. What I am is disgusted with this team. There is a total lack of give a (frank) from almost every player, your leadership and the majority of this fanbase. They're a lot more than a defenseman away from winning anything. You're deluded.

Looking like B's and sharks will both make the playoffs, meaning picks 15 and below. What are the chances that trading both 1st's and a prospect like koko or debrusk or senyshyn gets a top 5 pick at this years draft?
- TylerSeguin19

Senyshyn is on fire.

You're definitely overreacting. It's been frustrating but like 99% of the issues this team has had stem from the defenses inability to do anything other than ice the puck. They can't be trusted to hold a lead. If we had just one D man that could log 25 min and really control the pace of play against top comp then we'd be 1st in the Atlantic and probably 2nd in the conference. That one player would remove Kevan Miller from the lineup and slot others in easier roles. I think it would have a tremendous snowball effect on the defense. (And if Claude continues force feeding Miller big minutes can his ass)

Problem is, we probably can't get that player at the tdl. So we need to sell off Loui and Seidenberg, clear some cap, collect some assets, gut out the rest of the season and make a big trade at the draft.

If you say so, brother. The idea that the B's aren't abjectly awful seems to offend you. I just don't share your anger. I think this team has a chance to surprise people in the playoffs and I like when teams try to win. That's all I'm gonna say. I don't want to send your blood pressure any higher than it already is.

Is Detroit considered a top team? Because really we lost by a goal where at least half of them shouldn't have happened, without our top player, in a matinee which we historically suck in. Trade for Spurgeon or Scandella

Would be nice. Not sure Minny does much. They seem to be blaming Yeo at the moment.

Hasn't there been enough of this to tell you what need to know? Once you're a "Claude guy" you get ice time no matter what.

What gets it done ? Koko and a first? They gotta want features, their forward core is aging.

If not what about the peg? Ends trim, trouba, Myers can't all stay with that buff contract

No. No. I get what you're saying. I'm not really sure what Minny needs at the moment. But they just canned the coach citing him as the problem right? Doesn't sound like they're going to be moving pieces.

I would love to see Scandella in a B's sweater though.

Every time I listen to Felger which is rare, he is always negative. He is clueless. Even negative through the time when the Bruins were a power house.

He harped on the only thing you could besides the PP. Dan Paille and his scoring prowess. Smoking hot takes from Felgah.

Amen. Its nice to see someone not leaping off the ledge. They need to work on there defensive structure for sure but they can certainly make some noise in the playoffs. No team is unbeatable in hockey.

I will say that Tuukkas confidence is shot right now. He acts like he isnt seeing anything. Maybe he isnt.

I am on the BUYER bandwagon. Get into the playoffs and see what they are made of. If they avoid the wild card, we most likely face Tampa or Florida. Both winnable. They are only 4 points out of first in the division...

- Mahewman

These threads are becoming very negative I agree. The team is in rebuild mode on the fly and in the process are probably gonna make the playoffs. To me that is really something. It has been a huge learning curve this year for the team and as a result they are wildly inconsistent. The team has a lot of young players and rookies and are only gonna get better.

For some, trade Chara, waive Rask, fire Claude...

Get a top 4 defenceman and see what happens.

The only thing that drives me up the wall is when they lay down for the Habs! That is when I will leap off the ledge!

I really hope Sweeney has a mid range plan for next year, as well as a master plan.
