That would be interesting too. I'd be willing to give up a small ransom if the Hawks were able to acquire Skinner and Rask. Bickell would have to go the other way and some salary retention for Skinner, but TT, a Rockford F prospect, a Rockford D propect, and draft pick would all be on the table. Hell they can take Scuderi too so they can be cap compliant for next year.

Indeed...the local broadcast has skipped the anthems several times, but I seem to recall those were road games.

It could be because so far this season, Versteeg has 32 pts in 55 games, and Kruger, Desjardins, Bickell, Dano, Danault, Mashinter, Sekac, Panik, and Rasmussen have a combined 31 pts in a combined 227 games.

That is the key about Versteeg compared to these other guys being named. He probably wouldn't cost as much, yet might be just as effective in causing the chain reaction that stabilizes the 4 line depth.
