I just think it's funny the flyers shed vinny's cap hit and the cap will be lowered potentially next year by the entire amount of that hit ha. Either way it's obviously still a plus and they are heading in the right direction but they can't catch a break here. A compliance buyout would be great

They're an adequate 4th line, but VandeVelde is a replacement level guy, White is a nice grinder, but he's poor on the PK. Upgrading the bottom six is necessary & not expensive

3rd line? Sure. But upgrading VDV or white on the 4th line is the least of my concerns right now. if there is a slam dunk out there then yeah definitely go for it.

I don't think any team will move the #2 pick for numbers 11 and 25. They would, at the least, probably have to add a guy like Sanheim to the deal to make it work.

I'd do it as well. I think Laine may be one of those rare players that can score 40 goals in today's NHL.

As much as I would love this, there is no one on the Rangers who can take Simmonds where we wouldn't be at a severe disadvantage with the ensuing penalties.

The Phantoms got pounded last night without MacDonald and Cousins. They really could have used Scott Laughton, so if he's not in the Flyers lineup today Hextall needs to explain WTF is going on. The kid should be playing somewhere, not sitting on his ass.
