I do find it funny concerning Gudas this "you play the full 60" narrative. The entire team including Gudas all but rolled over the entire third period and let the Sabres (frank) 'em. If you're going to make a statement about playing hard the entire game, maybe do it earlier than with 3 minutes left....

yea sanheim and NAK feels kind of steep for drouin
i'd feel starting at laughton

I said Yzerman is over a barrel. I didn't say he was giving him away.

It's still going to take a hell of a prospect for Drouin.

Same draft year. Both selected using picks from the Carter trade.

Someone better point out the difference quick or I think Coots is becoming deadline fodder....

- Mononoke

yea the lines are becoming blurred now but that could just be the alcohol looks like coots is easily replaceable

Not really. They have full control, and Drouin is stupid enough to delay his ELC if he keeps this up. Probably by the draft he's gone, and their return won't suffer for it in my mind.

Told by an NHL & NHLPA source that 2016-17 cap could go down as much as $4 million. If true, interested in what that does to trade deadline

Cap won't go down for the sole fact that the Pens would be the most heavily screwed team. The have no cap room as it is, don't have any expiring deals and have a bunch of RFAs (including Maata) to sign.
