For them to play the cop card and there not be questions as to why they were there at that hour in a VIP section is a bigger issue to me.

I didn't watch the video so I can't say this with certainty but this seems like a typical bar fight where one party lost. I don't know the details oh who threw the first punch or what but my guess is this goes away and he gets maybe a 4 game suspension.

Does no one else think it is weird that they are in VIP popping bottles though? More than half my friends are cops and I know none of them could afford to be in VIP next to millionaires popping bottles of champagne.

It is without a doubt a strange situation. The only thing I can think of is if they were working security, but that would have come out in the press already if that was the case.

It shouldn't matter if they are cops because they were off-duty. I heard on WGR that they almost considered not pressing charges and were going to chalk it up to, "losing a bar fight". After consideration of who it was they were dealing with i guess they had a change of heart.

Based on Risto's performance, his maturity and his consistent and continuing improvement I would try to lock him up on a long deal now. He's 21 - I'd try to tie him up for his entire career. I'd ask for a something like 8 years at $45.
