I'm glad we waited until 2 minutes left in the game while shorthanded to score our first goal. - Pomegrant
Yeah wish the first 58 minutes were worth watching |

Lose game 2-1, wonder how well we could have done, if by some miracle they could have gotten a power play. I know using the refs is a piss poor excuse for losing, but when one team gets 5 power plays to the other teams none, you have given them a pretty big advantage. Starting to wonder is severson is really hurt, how in the world is he sitting in the press box while gelinas and helgeson are playing. |

Tough to draw a penalty when you never have the puck. |

In terms of offense, would the oilers be a good trade partner for you guys? Cause that team needs to blow it up; y'all could benefit from that, depending on what you're willing to part with. Either way, just curious. |

The only things that would interest them would be Larsson and Severson. Trading one of them just creates a bigger hole in another more important area of the team. |

I wish zacha kept his feet moving as much as blandisi he does way to much floating around waving his stick. - blizzzard
Yeah, it always seems like he's reacting to plays rather than anticipating. |

Gelinas has now gone from disappointing to infuriating. I haven't skated in years, but I'm pretty sure I could take the puck away from him. - smellmyfinger
I'm not even sure he did one thing right. |

I would rather fill out our bottom 4 defence with ufa's then try to find top six talent in the ufa market. We can keep Lars he is untouchable and we could pick between a few other guys to keep but I am open to moving severson for a top forward or future top forward and fill out our defence with experienced players who are reliable instead of watching 4-5 guys a night learning the ropes. It was fun at first but half these guys aren't turning into the top2-3 guys we thought they where, now its still early for severson but gelinas merril and schlemko aren't going to fetch you sweet fack all.
I would honestly love to get our hands on Shattenkirk I think he would do wonders for our blue line he is young enough to build around he is very mobile and can put up points from the back end I would move Cammy, Merril and a reasonable pick to see it done (obviously he likely won't be moved until the draft with peitro injured) that is also if he is a better deal then the star forward cause you have to jump on the best deal kind of like the schneider trade. |

It may just not be his game I mean ovi does a lot less of controlling the puck lately but I just had hoped a guy you took 6th overall at forward would be a puck hound someone who demanded the puck we have no one who can pick the puck up behind our net from the defence and go end to end ( Blandisi is looking like that guy but I thought he was quiet last night ) Anyways I have noticed Max Jones is floating around 14-16th he might be a good addition to zacha big strong fast and can put up points. |

We need to pick 1st overall for the first time in our teams history Hopefully we win the first pick since we will not tank. Pisses me off that the leafs will and signed players with the direct intent to tank they have made 0 effort to improve their team and are probably going to get rewarded mightily for it and it's b.s |
