I was big on drafting Provorov if he was available, but I still think Zacha will be good.

Gelinas has now gone from disappointing to infuriating. I haven't skated in years, but I'm pretty sure I could take the puck away from him.

That's true I keep telling myself his game is better suited for the NHL but I still think he has to be harder on pucks for that to be true he does have that Ovie like one timer and his putting up better numbers then he did last year just hard to not be tough on him when so much relies on him turning out lol

I think Zacha was a fine choice. Outside of the first couple of picks none of the guys were projected to make immediate impacts so you draft a forward because we need forwards. Time will tell if it was a good pick or not but I think the reasoning behind it was fine.

Look at kids like Blandisi. Before his last year in juniors he didn't really do anything all that special. But then it clicked for him that last year and he did really well. Spent some time in the AHL and look where he is now. It takes time before everything just clicks and it'll be the same for Zacha.

Every time I look, he's out there with Helgeson or Schlemko. That awful 4th line too.

yeah, certainly would help.

it would be nice to get a power play at some point too. refs have been pretty lenient, to be fair, but getting a call our way could help out a lot.

I don't know how anyone especially our gm could watch this and not see how badly we lack offensive star power. I hope he has something cooking to help us out sometime soon it's embarrassing to watch these guys once it's 1-0 for the other team. It's Cory playing with an ahl team right now

Arizona would really drop the ball if Boedker gets to UFA. He was their top-scorer for a good part of the year and he's only 26. Maybe he wants out, but either way, I get the feels for small market teams losing their stars at young ages.

I'm glad we waited until 2 minutes left in the game while shorthanded to score our first goal.
