I hope Jan just blogs about the next game against the Devils.

I'm hoping for a Bobby Farnham gloved punch misconduct so we have something to argue about.

(frank)ing guy crosschecks him in the head and starts chirping afterwards. A stinky glove was the least he could expect
- Just5

yeah Mac was the aggressor, forget going in for a late hit, Messier used to give it worse but Flyers fans calling Mac soft for the punch is very amusing, maybe Simmonds shouldn't be so soft about Mac protecting himself you (frank)ing hypocrites

Next time Glass challenges Simmonds tell that animal to accept a challenge and Flyers fans stop telling us he doesn't back down to anyone cause he did to Glass, last Ranger he fought was Dubi, McIlrath will run train on the Flyers

I will, but also include this in it. I don't think Simmonds deserved a match, my earlier comment was pointing out why he might have been given one.

For anyone who saw the whole game, which I will do later, was there anything between McD-Simmonds earlier in the contest that might have resulted in this confrontation?

Nope, I think Simmonds was pissed Kreider hit him with the butt end of his stick earlier in the 1st. Simmonds is usually pissed when he plays so he took it out on McDonagh IMO

That said, there is no question McDonagh cross-checked him in the helmet, which led to the whole incident. If refs make the right call, two on him, maybe the rest doesn't happen. Even if they called it after Simmonds slashed him across the shins and stopped it there, none of the remainder transpires there.

No but there was a high what bordered on a but end to Simmonds face from Moore...it happened a few minutes before. ( it went uncalled) It defiantly raised his blood pressure.

Simmonds is not a first liner

So Simmonds is so tough he only challenges 1st line players? Is that what you're trying to say?

Flyers fans really making a case for being as stupid as Devils fans today, I've got a long time friend like I said that's a Flyers fan and I've never gotten into such a heated argument with him before about the two teams, he really sounded like all the rest today, "Mcdonagh crosscheck" "Glass jaw" "Simmonds doesn't back down to no one", (frank) off with all the homer Flyers BS

I get Flyers fans being upset, over that moment in the game, but calling out Ranger announcers, for being homerish, is actually hilarious.

CSN Philly is a sh!t show of fan boy proportions.

I agree Crims, I just don't like the attack on Mac as if he's some whiny punk, if the dude is out for the game he isn't ok and I've been pretty damn good with Flyers fans for a while, I give them more slack because of my buddy, today was a rivalry that got stoked, good looking D coming up the pipe

First liner on the flyers....and looking at your forwards he would be a first liner on the Rangers.

Debateable, I don't think he's all that skilled, good power forward but very awkward at times, he's like a polished Emerson Etem

Rangers rank 6th in the league with 151 goals for. Flyers rank 28th with only 121.

You're offense is (frank)ing terrible. It's Buffalo Sabres bad.
