You know what could be real enticing? We pick up the other 1/2 of Yandle's salary. Becomes a cost free rental with 0 cap hit and 1st crack to resign to whoever gives us back a 1st plus a prospect.

no.. a players salary can only be retained by 50%, so AZ is retaining 50% of his cap, so the rangers can not retain any... that is my understanding.
for me, I trade Yandle for the best package I can find. whether that be current players or prospects or draft picks. they just need assets. I want McIlrath to play and we cant move Boyle, so I want Yandle traded. He has definitely not lived up to the player I thought he would be.
Also, if Gorton even considers trading Buch, McIlrath, or Skeiji I will go insane. doesn't look like there is much on the market this year.
today is the kind of game that is really going to depress everyone if they lose, no matter if they are already on board the "lets pack it in" train.
A win today and finally winning two in a row, along with finally winning on the road, would do wonders for everyone's mood regarding this team.
Real disappointing if they don't get it done today, and costly as well.
It's kind of a must win. - jimbro83
Also the Rangers have been getting a little bit of help lately. Isles and Devils lost Thursday, Penguins lost last night. Today they have to win this game.

A lot of these losses after a wn have been must, they lose today and all it means is there is less faith, confidence and hope they can figure it out, bottom line is win and continue winning

Dude I haven't done that yet...even my drunk ass can't frank that up - TPC
I've done it more times than I can count... Its like losing a game 7, you are so excited when you unwrap the plastic and stick the frozen ellios in the oven. Then you realize you are smelling burnt cheese and you feel a hole open up in your soul, and anger & depression set in.

Love when "bloggers" aka I'm just a fan and created a Facebook page to play "journalist" writes a piece about the Rangers and trade rumors then posts "Please NYR trade more of your system away #toothlessgrin and wonder why no one takes them seriously
