It's kind of scary that this can be taken seriously at this point.

I can't take it seriously. Saw Riley Nash play at Cornell. Single most overrated first round pick I've ever seen live and is nothing more than a eh ... type player.

That pretty much describes Carolina's entire forward lineup.

Largely. There are a few bright spots but the gap between the good forwards and the bad forwards is astonishingly large.

The system rules all.

EDIT: BUT Next year...... Stamkos

That means a lot coming from you since I know your feelings on Beau Bennett

Torts is a waste of flesh, that knee looks bad, especially the way it torques his shin-pad so hard you can see his knee.

Sundqvist for Mark Letestu. Book it.
- Victoro311

Letestu lead the Oil forwards in TOI by a margin of 2 mins last night. Who is Sundqvist?

A promising prospect. I was just taking a jab at the Despres-Lovejoy trade if that wasn't obvious.

It appears nothing is obvious here anymore.

I am very curious to know what the guy that rips on trading for guys that aren't succeful on other teams finds appealing about Pulkenen. I am also curious what the guy that thinks we have zero assets or leverage thinks that the Red Wings would want.

Cole for Pulk. He'd fit in great over there.

They'd offer Glendening for Cole. Which I'd probably also take. They'll want Pouliot for Pulkkinen.

Pulk is a solid winger prospect, I still want to hold out and pray to return to his form from last today.

edit: as i realized later on... I massively butchered this post thinking half it in my head lol.

Pulk is a solid winger prospect, but I still want to hold out and pray for Cole's return to his form from last year and not just dump him today.

Quote from his wiki page:

lendening set a franchise record among rookie forwards for the most games played without a goal, at 52 games, surpassing Cummy Burton, who played his entire 43-game Detroit career without scoring a goal.

For pride sake I can't have a guy on our team who's even worse than some guy named "Cummy".

He has played 29 games and would be #7 on the Pens for scoring despite playing mostly 4th line time. To put in perspective Kessel has played 20 more games and only scored 9 more goals and is paid $6mil more.

Some here think we have the assets to get Buff, if thats true they can get Pulk and he's a LW.

DET has a log jam of good young F talent. He might be expendable.

Ah, nope... I actually only typed half my thought in that post before. Praying that COLE holds out and returns to form for us. As that was the mentioned trade for Pulk that that post was quoting.

My bad.

As for the teams I like... Pens, Blue Jackets, Devils, and Ducks. Obviously, the Pen's fanbases here is more than triple those 3 combined, so I don't even bother with their boards.

And the Devils is a bit of a diehardness from Brodeur's days, my former favorite player.

Pulk would be a nice addition... and if hes being unused and undervalued there, lets hope JR can jump on it and help to our forward issues for this season and the future.
