The players need to be more conscious though. Sometimes it's just that there's no sense of urgency for the guy coming off to get off quicker.

Agreed. Kane is such a frustrating player. You can see that he has the talent in him, and he has the strength to really make his presence known out there, but yet you're left wondering when is he going to erupt. But, I guess we were all warned about his M.O. from the Winnipeg fans. Our G.M. seems to be pretty stubborn when he gets his mind on a certain player.

In general, his play hasn't been what I would call bad. He's just not scoring as much as we'd like. The choices he makes in the offensive zone are a bit odd at times, but he's not killing us out there either.

I liked that subtle bump by Risto on Subban at the end there after he got done sparring with Kane.

He's looking very much more like the guy we saw last year.

Well on paper they're likely going to get worse after deadline day too. Maybe a late run in the final week or two but they are what they are.
