I really enjoyed it as well. I think the 3 on 3 format is perfect for this event. It really allows the fans to see the skill level of the guys participating.

It'll be nice when they don't have to do the three games because the nhl can't get the right amount of teams per conference

Prays for expansion draft

A) New team
B) Matt Moulson is probably drafted.

I liked the whole format to be honest. I thought it worked really well. It seemed to really up the amount of competitiveness in them.

I thought they lost their legs a bit for the final game, but overall it was surprisingly entertaining.

The goalies played unreal in the 3rd game. For a 1-0 game, it was very entertaining.

I think I've decided that the FX series on OJ Simpson is worthy of the "record" button on my DVR.

I've been looking forward to that for a few weeks now. Hopefully it lives up to the hype.

He was clearly the only real story coming out of the All Star Game, other than the 3 on 3 format, and the way his weekend unfolded, he saved the league from itself.

For that reason, you have to give him the MVP.

He didn't look out of place out there either.

Great job John

I really enjoyed watching this year. I always watch the Skills Competition because you can see the guys out there just having a good time. The game always seemed like a chore to them in previous years though. Not this year. They all looked like they were having fun but were also playing very competitively. It was very refreshing to see.

I had work that took me to Nashville on a regular basis about 10 years ago.

There's a certain way that Tennesseans deal with Northerners - butter won't melt in their mouth, but look out for the long knives when you turn your back, baby.

I've said this for a while: a real measure of how much Buffalo's economy has rebounded will be when airlines start offering non-stop routes from here to more major cities. This is a great start.

I think it needs to be said again, he touched on it in his Players Tribute piece.

But he is a hockey player.

The guy hit 94mph on the radar gun, he has pretty good hands for a big guy and he is pretty smart.

People hate on him cause his job is to punch people. He did what he had to do to make it to the show, and he has stuck around.

Good for him, now the league needs to send him back to Arizona.

He saved the league from themselves. He was the reason I watched and I am sure the reason many others watched.

He's not the exact reason I watched, but he made me want to watch it that much more. I'm not sure if maybe some of us here had more of an interest in the story since he had been a part of our team before and we knew more about him because of that or what. I know that I learned while he was here that he's a very smart man, is well liked among his teammates, and seems to just be a great person overall.

I'm so glad to see that he not only got to participate, but show the fans that thought it was a huge joke that he would even be there that he is, in fact, a legitimate NHL player.

The league needs to send him back to San Jose that's for sure

But he had a storybook ending I think this is it for John Scott nothing is going to ever top this in his career it would be absolutely awesome if he won the Cup this year..
