But the integrity. ....
- sbroads24

Bettman bleeds integrity

In all seriousness i thought this was one of the best all star games i have ever seen. I was thinking it was either going to be a trainwreck or great and it turned out great.

For the most part the players were completely engaged. It was nice to see

I need to bookmark this for 30 years.

Not that easy there kiddo. You'll learn though, given time.

There are physical changes you body goes through...take more science classes!

Yes there are physical changes but you can prevent those changes I can guarantee you the people that are overweight are people that don't exercise and they haven't for years and that's why their bones have dissolved over the years

People can disagree with me but I'm going to go against my own generation we are as lazy as it comes the video games have destroyed us and we don't go outside and hang out play football etc with our friends anymore its either go over their house and play video games etc

Why people were so healthy back in the day is because they didn't have video games they had the outside they head activity ,movement... nowadays you use your hands thats it thats all you're moving

And I love video games but people take advantage of it playing what 10 hours a day how (frank)ing ridiculous is that

People hate Bettman because he's a disingenuous puppet.

As far as the players making too much, using Scott and his 500K as an example: good luck lasting long with the job he has to do.

500K wouldn't be nearly enough for me to have to eat punches on a consistent basis.

And when you have no energy to even get off the couch, let alone work out, after dealing with your kid all day, what then?

You need some serious perspective.

It's very strange. For 3 years before this May I lived on a street that was exclusively multi family properties from 2-6 units per. So there were a lot of kids, but in the summer during the day the place was deserted. When I was a kid on my street of all single family homes every house that had kids were all outside. You had to drive your car like 10 mph because you had to slow down every 50 feet because the streets/yards were jammed with kids running all over the place. I was always outside playing hockey and football and lacrosse, riding my bike. from like 11am to 10pm with some breaks for food that was a bout it. Even in the winter, as long as the street was clear we were out playing hockey.

We were all young men who thought we knew everything. Asking him to understand a middle-aged man's issues and metabolism changes at this point in his life is like asking him to understand what it's like to be pregnant.

Bottom line is he's good enough to play in the NHL it doesn't matter that he's a fighter. He still has to be able to at least be proficient at skating, shooting and passing.

I understand Gizmo. My son is a victim of it too. Couple years on you and no social life outside of the playstation. Way different from when I was a kid growing up. I was never home but always slept there.

Can't really do anything about it unless you start a movement or something no one's going to listen I mean playing video games that's fine but when you play it like three hours just staring at the TV and then eating it's not healthy

I used to eat whatever I wanted when I was your age. I was in the military and I exercised so much I never gained anything but muscle. Over the years I have had to change my diet because I don't exercise as much and my metabolism in general does not allow me to indulge in whatever I want. Carbs especially make me tub out.

Listen I'm just saying if you exercise you can eat the stuff you used to and not having to worry about gaining weight
But everyone makes excuses you can't tell me that there's always a person says all I exercise the next day and then they don't and then they ok the next day and they don't and then three years later and it's too late

Video games have destroyed us and they made it so you don't have to go to your friends house anymore no movement whatsoever you could just talk in the headset and just sit there all day
