He's not the exact reason I watched, but he made me want to watch it that much more. I'm not sure if maybe some of us here had more of an interest in the story since he had been a part of our team before and we knew more about him because of that or what. I know that I learned while he was here that he's a very smart man, is well liked among his teammates, and seems to just be a great person overall.

I'm so glad to see that he not only got to participate, but show the fans that thought it was a huge joke that he would even be there that he is, in fact, a legitimate NHL player.

we did vote him in because he is the worst player in the NHL and the all-star game was a joke .. but I changed my opinion of him when that article came out and how the NHL treated him.. it basically changed everyone

He isn't the worst. While he is far from great he tried and at least has some personality. I will always respect Scott more than a guy like Cody Hodgson. Hodgson just plans on floating through life doing the bare minimum and suckering teams into giving him a few million along the way.

Scott is a guy who takes marginal talent, and through dedication and hard work, makes a real go of it.

Hodgson is a guy who takes significant talent, and through lack of dedication or hard work, finds himself in the AHL.

We know how Buffalo fans - probably most Amercian fans - will respond to those two situations.

Which shows me that you think it's ok to "make fun" of people. This is exactly why I think it's awesome that he did so well yesterday. It shut a hell of a lot of people up, that's for sure.

1) Agree.

2) No, because they asked him not to participate in any of the events, to stay off the ice and he didn't listen.

I don't totally believe they were making fun of him as much as they were making fun of the All Star Game. And it was fun.
