Staples Q&A on Twitter summary.

KO is going to walk, Nielsen will be back, Hamonic 15% chance to be here next season, no big moves this deadline, softly hinted at trying to get a big UFA this offseason.

No Frans back please. No big moves seems right and making a big run at a UFA makes sense.

Frans has been good. No issues with him being 3C moving forward (JT, Nelson,Nielsen,Cizikas)

I want a tougher checking center. Any talk of which UFA the Isles would go after and any coaching talk?

Nielsen has been solid this year but I really want a bigger, gritty checking center for the third line.

When Frans does another elfoldo in the playoffs, we will have more Isles fans in the Anti-Frans fan club.

Exactly. Seems like most Islander fans have short term memory. I was always a big Nielsen fan as most on here know. He's an effective player BUT he's not physically suited for a third line role and doesnt have what it takes to be our second line center. He has become a player tthere's no home for. If Snow plans on doing nothing again this deadline just trade the guy for something because this team doesnt have a cold chance in hell of doing anything in the playoffs.

We will once again physically get our nuts kicked in. Hamonic will tell everyone, "well if they want to play like that then we can also." Just like Clutterbuck and him did last year when we got killed and they'll all shrivel up like the vaginas they are when the time comes to actually back up their words.

I do not get it Cpt. We've seen what happens with guys like Frans already. He is a nice regular season player, but pretty useless during the playoffs. We've also seen what happens when Garth does little at the deadline. Just getting a Kennedy forward or Strait dman is not going to cut it.

One thing is for sure, I will not miss Hamonic's dopey comments when he is traded. Clutterbuck will be just a Twitter tough guy.

Ill miss Hamonic. Not his fault that we have one line thats physical and nobody else. Believe me that'll be exploited again.

Hamonic will be missed greatly. I think almost every fan will agree. At season ticket holder even, his line for autograph was one of the longest.

I don't think we have someone similar to him in the system.

My 2nd car was an IROC..

But I got mine from a lady who raced dragsters.

I crashed it 3 times then finally got rid of it.

- mdw7413

Had a Z-28 (not an IROC though). Totaled it when I broadsided a garbage truck. Knocked the truck over though, so there's that.
