I think its sweet you finally posted your proposal on FB.

They are also in a different boat, as are the wings, rangers and whatever other team you mentioned. The isles have literally done nothing since last year, havent been playing great hockey, have assets for days yet we wait for something to happen, all while the management stays silent. As i said before, this is a bad business model.

I think you are touching on a point im trying to make here. Even the canned answers are moot.......because if he says something like "we believe in our roster to win" and they dont win, it will be on him. When the new ownership takes over, they are going to be looking for results (like any NORMAL owner). Anything Garth says can be used against him at this point. He's been awfully quiet for a reason.

Remember when Garth went public saying his rebuild plan would take 5 years? Yeah, well that was more than 5 years ago. So now what? The guys job should be terminated and anyone he's brought on.

They really dont have a glaring weakness. Unless they lose Holtby or Ovechkin with a season ending injury I cant see how they wouldnt be anyones favorites at this point in the season? That is subject to change of course.

great deal - a 25 year old playmaker and a pick for a 29yr old dman that is as useful as Strait on defense. that will make us a playoff team.
especially when Bernier takes Bailey spot and we get even less production.

When Snow made a move given up essentially nothing to get Vanek. Everyone was up in air for trading away our 1st round pick to Buffalo.

I actually think Snow does a better job than most the GMs out there. Look at Toronto. they paying a coach 7MM a year, have drafted plenty of first rounder and they about to miss the playoffs again. Winnipeg, Columbus have made huge moves and are going to miss playoffs as well.

Here we are 3rd in East and we looking to make trades b/c we already know we wont go far in playoffs?
