But after the game, Krug that said the fight was his idea given his displeasure with what Stewart was doing around the Boston net,

Makes the Boston color commentary guys seems like even bigger D bags.

They should at least open their eyes to see who dropped their gloves first to instigate the fight, before commenting on how pathetic it was of Stewart.

we get spoiled up here with good play by play and analysis on CBC, Rogers and TSN, Ewards isnt' great, but he's way better than those basketball guys that Fox has covering NHL hockey in the rest of the cities.

That's okay... I can't say I disagree much with the pro wrestling sentiment...

To be honest I hated Jack for years... until I got the GameCenter package and started to watch other team's broadcasts a few seasons ago... then I started to appreciate him for what he was... a kooky hype-man that loves his job. No, he doesn't always say the smartest things... but Brickley is there to correct him (for example on the Trotman (I think it was Trotman?) hit on Perron that could have easily been interference).

He's like the happy awkward Dad at a party that tries to make a joke that only he thinks is hilarious, and makes everyone else feel weird. But I'd rather that guy then the disinterested Dad, who sits in the corner by himself, being miserable, wishing he never met his wife and had kids... which is essentially what most other announcers sound like.

Possibly the most accurate analogy I've ever heard.

Also liked the Michael Cole reference. Edwards is entertaining, and it works. The guys on CBC are annoying because all they talk about is the leafs. They don't even know the names of the other teams.

Anyways, anything about Eriksson rumour by Ek hold weight? I sure hope not. I just can't stomach trading Eriksson. Especially if he is seen as a rental. A first is not enough.

Edwards is not entertaining and he does not work, for me.

I think we're gonna see a lot of click-bait articles about Loui right up until the deadline. I have a very hard time believing the B's will be sellers, unless they absolutely implode after the all-star break.

i agree but i think they'll be real careful given he's a UFA. if they get the sense he won't sign, they'll move him.

The center ice package is kind of nice in that regard, because you can chose which teams broadcast you want.

Sometimes I'll listen to the opposing teams guys just to mix it up.

Yeah I'm with you. I think that's smart business.

Fluto had a good piece the other day about interest in Loui from the Wild. It was written like he had actually talked to people. Articles like Fluto's (i.e. concerned with details) convince me that the B's might move Loui, but they're rare. Most articles are the Haggs-nonsense-click-bait type, which just muddy the waters.

See I wouldn't mind one of the guys from the Wild. Scandella would be nice. But I think Eriksson is more valuable. Or a package including Dumba, although he hasn't had the best year..

So that means we have 4 consecutive years of Buffalo super bowl loss 25th anniversaries? Sweet.

HAHAHAHAHA!!! Each one got worse & worse. At least SB 25 was close, 1 point loss. The Redskins killed them, the Cowboys embarrassed them & the last loss to Dallas was barely competitive.

I would love if they flipped broadcasts. Goucher and Beers for TV. Brick and who gives a (frank) on the radio.

TV has been horrible since Fred Cusik. R.I.P.

Jack has a great face for radio, (and needs some teeth bleaching too), I listen to broadcasts a lot when I;m stuck at work, I'd be all for that switch

Joonas as well. God that guy sucks. Brings nothing to the table. Spoons needs to go back down to 3rd line centre and insert rinaldo and ferraro. I'd like to see ty randell get some more games too

Had a dream Boston traded Eriksson to Dallas for Spezza and a first.

Woke up.

Fell back asleep and they were in the 7th game of the eastern finals against Tampa 2-2 in the third.

What an emotional roller coaster.
