I guess I understand the insanity at grocery stores... but why are gas stations so packed tonight?

I guess. He's have to be insurance or something for a teams top 6. He won't crack any playoff team on his own and no one will have him in a bottom 6 role. I don't think that's worth 2 4ths but I know nothing
- Just5

Not my problem for whatever team that would want him, just overpay us for him.

Gagner won't be here next year either so I'll take any asset they can get back even if its a 6th rounder

I guess if you are really low on gas and the storm can close down gas stations, you want to be sure you have gas in case you need to get around

Of course I never ever wanna see the Flyers fail at anything but I can live with another failed season if it means bringing in another possible top talent.

Meh, might as well get nothing. All you're really getting there is some tagging space for this season, and possibly doing Gagner a favor.

I wouldn't say even a 6th is nothing...........you never know where you find a gem prospect.

You're going to feel so silly when the Flyers draft the next Hull or Datsyuk in the 6th round

(I will take another Fazleev at worst)

You have no idea how much I hope you're right about that. I'd ask for a 5th. Maybe we can get the next Jamie Benn.

How about Mark Stone? He was a 6th round pick, or Carl Hagelin.

As we all know drafting is not an exact science but if you don't plan on keeping Gagne why not take something

Palat is what you're getting. And you're going to like it.

If I hear one more peep out of you on the subject, I'm downgrading you to a 7th rounder and Joe Pavelski.

I agree, never know what might happen. A 6th just doesn't excite me, and would hope to do a little better.

Serious now: the two drafts under Hextall have been, in their early returns, resounding successes for just about each and every pick, for whichever round. If Hextall snags a 4th or a 5th, I trust him to put it to good use

I still think it's too early to determine it a success..........right now they are doing well in the places they are playing.

We need to see how they progress as they climb the ranks, but I will say I like the direction the franchise is headed.

I'm not a fortune teller -- I did say they are successes in their early returns. As of this moment, there is nary a single pick his regime has made that looks worse in hindsight. Only better. That's all you can ask for at this moment in time.

That's reminds me of when I thought my Powerball numbers looked really good before the drawing!

I cannot believe Jamie Benn is as good as he is. Not a big fan but you've gotta respect his ability. He came out of nowhere. Never in talks with Tyler Seguin, John Tavares or Nathin MacKinnon.

More like the numbers are in the process of being read out, and so far we have a winning ticket. Still some numbers left to go, but hey, so far so good. There's reason to be optimistic...and reason to not call up the boss and quit your job.

Watching Evander Kane tonight. I would no trade Brayden Schenn for him based on tonight alone. I think we would find the same issues with him, plus the headaches of the off ice stuff.
