No one can tell me MacKinnon and Duchene with their blazing speed can't be great possession players like Jake. If you put Bill Peters on the Avs, run his style there, they're a playoff contender in my mind. Or the Flames even. System is everything. I love how Pesce described puck possession simply in terms of what they actually do. Green lights to skate it in. Work up the middle with center support. Don't use the wall and make a prayer. By all means though, let Roy rip ass on the spreadsheets.

A) how often has that really happened? a few? and B) I am betting the flyers are even in the game because of G's contributions on the scoresheet, faceoffs (Which he is one of the best) and PK. seriously, its ridiculous to compare the two. no undisciplined penalty is OK but when white can contribute as much as G does to the team, maybe I will let up on him.
